Jennifer Coulter

Jennifer Coulter is a partner at Townsend Allala, Coulter & Kludt, PLLC who focuses on estate planning and benefits planning. She practices exclusively in the field of elder law, focusing on Medicaid planning, Medicaid Estate Recovery Program avoidance and defense, estate planning, and trusts. It is her nursing home Medicaid cases that are her driving passion. She is the current El Paso Probate Bar President as well as a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys.

Jennifer was studying for an English degree in Lubbock, Texas, when, at the age of 22, she had an illness that caused her to go blind. As a result, Jennifer had to navigate the complex governmental benefits system. It was a life-changing experience that made her want to redirect her life to help others in her community. Jennifer changed her major to study psychology and received a B.S. in Occupational Education from Wayland Baptist University. She then went on to the University of Texas School of Law, where she graduated with honors. Jennifer joined the firm after graduating and has worked to help her clients plan for their futures, access Long-Term Medicaid benefits, and protect their assets.
